King Salmon are the King of all salmon! More King Salmon are caught than any other species. King salmon can be aggressive feeders and very strong fighters. They rarely jump and prefer to slug it out down deep. Kind Salmon typically have a 4 year life span and can reach 30 or more pounds by late August and September.
Steelhead Trout, also known as rainbow trout, are acrobatic leapers and a true test to any anglers skill. While not as large as King Salmon, a large 10-12 pound fish can be a real handful, and it takes a skilled angler to land one of these beauties.
Coho Salmon, Lake Trout and Brown Trout, are a nice surprise, and are often caught while trolling for Kings or Steelhead. These fish can be aggressive fighters and Brown Trout can grow to over 40 pounds.
